Wrongful Adoption: An adoption that it is claimed would not have taken place had the adopting parents been properly informed of certain significant information that was known to those that were arranging the adoption at the time that the adoption took place, but which was not disclosed to the adoptive parents. This withheld or undisclosed information can include a variety of things, such as serious physical, emotional or psychological defects or deficiencies.
