Certification: As used in the contest of adoption, this term can refer to a process called "Pre-Adoption Certification," (as that term is defined below), or the process formally authenticating official government or court documents, which generally requires that a seal or apostille be affixed to a public or court document, in the manner that is specifically required by law or regulation, such as a Birth Certificate or Decree of Adoption, to attest to its authenticity.Find more information on Certification
