Boarder Babies: Infants that are abandoned in hospitals because of the inability of their parents to provide care for them after the delivery. These babies are usually born HIV-positive, with drug addictions, with extreme case of fetal alcohol syndrome, or with other significant medical problems, including very premature deliveries or low birth weights.
