Annotated Statutes

Annotated Statutes: Sometimes referred to as a state or federal "Code." It is a collection of state or federal laws, generally organized by topic area, that is accompanied by a brief summary, or "annotation," of the court decisions of the appropriate state or federal appeals courts that have interpreted the meaning, constitutionality or limitations on the enforceability of the statutes.
